There is a great range of courses and regular events on offer such as employment preparation, computers, leisure, craft and exercise. There are also specialist courses on signing for people who are deaf, numeracy, ESOL and citizenship.

A range of course discounts is available and all employment preparation courses are free regardless of circumstances. Those in receipt of a means tested benefit get a 50% reduction for most other courses. People who are over 60 get a 25% discount on course fees.

Aldershot Town FC offer schools the opportunity to work with them through their Community Trust. As the Trust is a registered charity and not a private enterprise any money made is put back into the local community. Quality coaching can be provided both during and after school hours and all coaches are FA qualified and CRB checked. There is also the chance to offer free holiday course places as rewards to deserving children from your school and educational projects at the EBB Stadium. You can also participate in the Trust’s junior football tournaments.

There are fundraising opportunities such as the Target Challenge, prizes for raffles and tombolas and the offer of a presence at any fete or summer fair. The Trust also provide Saturday Soccer sessions for boys and girls aged 5 to 12 years, Soccer at 6 sessions during the summer and various free pan disability sessions.

Aldershot Town also have a Community Stand. This has a capacity of 250 seats and is for the exclusive use of invited guests from the local community.

Walk, cycle, play or just have a picnic in these woods. Experience life in the trees with Go Ape, or take a relaxing break in their café. You can download a leaflet which contains a map before you visit. They also run fitness courses to suit all ages, abilities and budgets.

An interactive adventure trail, believed to be the first in the UK adapted for people with disabilities, is also available at Alice Holt. The project is a joint effort between the Forestry Commission and the Treloar Trust, which provides specialist care and education for young people with disabilities. The trail is designed specifically for wheelchairs by having a hard surface and rails along the pathways. A den 'skeleton' has also been built to enable wheelchair users to build a den and go inside it.

ASD Gaming Zone Sessions logo

A chance for ASD children and their siblings to come and meet others and have fun playing on games consoles. Every other Saturday from 10.00am to 1.00pm. For 6 year olds upwards. Free.

Autism friendly film screenings are held monthly at cinemas around the UK. For details about your nearest cinema screening visit the Dimensions website. When the films are being screened the lights will be on low, the volume will be turned down, there will be no trailers at the beginning of the film, you’ll be able to take your own food and drinks and you’ll be able to move around the cinema if you like.

No Strings Badminton pay and play sessions. A guaranteed playing partner at every session. Players of all ages and abilities welcome. No membership fees. Every Sunday between 10.30am and 12.00 noon. £3.00.

Bike Start  logo

Bike Start is the social bike project for Rushmoor, Hart and West Surrey led by The Source Young People's Charity in Aldershot. They train young people aged 16-25 to refurbish, service and maintain bikes in their workshop under the supervision of experienced and qualified bike mechanics. They also sell refurbished bikes, hire bikes and organise led bike rides for you to explore cycle routes in your local community.

BVCC members participate in a wide variety of canoeing activities. We offer the opportunity to gain experience of several dimensions of the sport including: flat water and white water kayaking/canoeing, marathon racing, slalom, polo and surfing.
