Respect logo

Respect is a membership organisation. They develop, deliver and support effective services for male and female perpetrators of domestic violence; young people who use violence and abuse at home and in relationships; and men who are victims of domestic violence.

They run two helplines. The Respect Phoneline - freephone 0808 802 4040 - for domestic violence perpetrators and professionals who would like further information about services for those using violence/abuse in their intimate partner relationships. The Men's Advice Line - freephone 0808 801 0327 - for men experiencing domestic violence.

Offers and advice for people with debt problems. Advice is available over the phone and via email. The service is free and confidential.

YoungMinds logo

YoungMinds is a national charity committed to improving the mental health of all children and young people under 25. It provides advice, publications and other resources for young people, parents and professionals and is home of the Parents Information Service - a helpline for parents and adults concerned about the mental health and emotional well-being of children in their care.

Hart and Rushmoor Portage Team logo

Portage is a home visiting educational service for pre-school children with additional support needs and their families. It takes place in the child's own home and aims to equip parents with the skills and confidence they will need to help their child, no matter what the child's difficulties may be. Portage offers practical help and ideas to encourage a child's interests and make learning fun for all the family.

Membership of the National Portage Association is growing steadily. There are currently around 150 Portage services registered with the National Portage Association and Portage is being used by approximately 4,500 children and families across the U.K.

PAG for Special Play logo

PAG (Parents Action Group) for Special Play is a registered charity based in Rushmoor. Their aim is to increase the play and leisure opportunities for families with special needs children and young people within the local area. All staff and volunteers are CRB checked.

PAG have a regular club called MADD Club – Music Arts Dance Drama - which is for 5-18 year olds who have special needs. Siblings within the age band can also be included. Places are limited, so please contact PAG before coming along. Parents/carers are required to stay, in the comfortable area provided.

PAG's Community Choir meets on Wednesdays in term time from 6.00pm – 7.00pm in room C5 at Samuel Cody Specialist Sports College, Farnborough.
