Help and support for male victims of domestic violence and abuse.

Merlin’s Magic Wand believe in putting the magic back into the childhoods of seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged children. The charity are able to make this happen by arranging days out at Merlin Entertainments Group attractions such as Legoland, Chessington World of Adventures and Warwick Castle. The charity welcomes applications on behalf of seriously ill, disabled or disadvantaged children, aged 2 to 18 years, who would benefit from such a day out.

Moving Forward is a support group for men and women who have experienced, or are experiencing, domestic abuse. This can be physical, emotional, financial, psychological or sexual abuse. The groups meet on Wednesdays between 1.00pm and 2.30pm in North Town, Aldershot and on Thursdays between 10.30am and 11.45am at St. Christopher’s Church, Cove. Free crèche facilities are available but please advise them in advance if you would like to use this facility.

The Moving Forward Community Support Groups aim to be friendly and informal, helping to reduce the feelings of isolation and helplessness which a lot of people who have been affected by domestic violence feel. The meetings are a mixture of fun activities and opportunities to seek practical and emotional support and help, if and when you feel that you would like to.

Mustard Seed is a registered charity that offers professional and practical support to families in the Hart and Rushmoor area living with autism. Their service is aimed at families with children on the autistic spectrum aged between 3 and 11. They offer support in the home with communication, social, sensory and anxiety issues, as well as daily routines, behaviour, play, self-help skills and accessing the community.

It is a support group for families with children on the Autistic Spectrum in Hart, Rushmoor and the surrounding areas and is based at the Samuel Cody Specialist Sports College. They provide information and advice for parents/carers, as well as activities, events and days out for families especially during school holidays.
