The Farnborough LGBT Coffee Posse meets at Costa Coffee, Princes Mead, Farnborough GU14 6YB on the last Saturday of the month between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Other than meeting to make new friends and catch up over a coffee, the group has no set agenda. They are supported by the local Lesbian and Gay Liaison Officer from Hampshire Constabulary, who offers support and advice should members have any appropriate issues to raise. Greenfingers involves families who live in the Mayfield and Grange areas of Farnborough in improving community green spaces and communal areas, developing an allotment to encourage children to learn about self-sufficiency and life cycles, and developing areas for local wildlife. It encourages children to learn about flora, fauna and crops and to cook and eat the produce they harvest.

You don’t need to live locally to get involved and you can be any age. All you need is energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to get involved.

Greenfingers meets every Saturday from 1.30pm until 3.30pm. There will always be two volunteer co-ordinators to guide the group. All sessions will start at the Prospect Centre. The whole family is very welcome. For more information call or email Jamie Beaton.
